Anis Shafina Mahfudz

Dr Anis Shafina Mahfudz is an Interventional Radiologist & medical lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in Sungai Buloh, Selangor. She obtained her undergraduate medical degree (MBChB) from University of Sheffield, United Kingdom in 2005. She attained her postgraduate education in Master of Radiology (MRad) at University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur in 2013. Dr Anis completed her interventional radiology fellowship training in 2018 at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre, Selayang Hospital and Yonsei University College of Medicine (Severance Hospital) in South Korea. She is currently based in Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah UiTM Puncak Alam, where she provides a wide range of interventional radiology services. Dr Anis is currently the Secretary of the Malaysian Society of Interventional Radiology (MySIR) and has been an active council member of MySIR since 2016. She has been heavily involved in organizing MySIR’s Annual Scientific Meetings and invited as a speaker and presenter at various interventional radiology courses in Malaysia. Dr. Anis is also a member of the Academy of Medicine Malaysia (AMM), Malaysian College of Radiology (MCoR), Asia Pacific Society of Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology (APSCVIR), Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology Society of Europe (CIRSE) and European Society of Radiology (ESR).
