Harshinderjeet Singh a/l Jeswant Singh Malaysia
Graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Manipal Academy of Higher Education in 1998 and has served in Ministry of Health hospitals across the Klang Valley and Perak, as well as in a University Hospital. Currently heads the Managed Care Organisation (MCO) and Private Hospitals Fee Sector under the Medical Practice Division, Ministry of Health Malaysia. Portfolio includes oversight of Fee Schedules under the Private Healthcare Facilities and Services Act 1998 (Act 586), including amendments, guiding principles, medical claims reimbursement protocols, and matters involving insurance providers and MCOs. Has underwent specialised training in Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) Codes with the American Medical Association in Chicago, USA, in 2019, and Professional Medical Procedure Coding at the American Health Information Management Association in 2024. Also actively regularly delivers talks and seminars on medical fee schedules to private hospitals, professional medical associations, and international conferences.
