Associate Professor Dr Sanveer Singh Dhillon

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sanveer Singh Dhillon is an Interventional and Clinical Radiologist at KPJ Johor Specialist Hospital. He earned his MBBS from University Malaya in 2004. He completed his specialist training with an FRCR from the Royal College of Radiologists in 2011, and obtained both a Master of Medicine in Radiology from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Radiology from University Malaya in 2011 and 2012, respectively. Subsequently he completed his Fellowship in Interventional Radiology from the Ministry of Health Malaysia and the Alfred Hospital, Melbourne in 2016. In 2017, he obtained his EBIR from CIRSE. He joined KPJ University in 2018 as a lecturer and was made a Clinical Associate Professor in 2023.

Dr. Isa Azzaki Zainal is a Clinical and Interventional Radiologist at UKM Medical Centre, working across Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz and Hospital Pakar Kanak Kanak. He graduated from Gadjah Mada University in 2010 and earned his Doctor of Radiology (Dr. Rad) from UKM in 2019. Dr. Isa completed a Clinical Fellowship in Interventional Radiology at UKM in 2022. His professional interests include interventional neuroradiology and pediatric interventional radiology.

Dr. Muhamad Arif Kamarudin is a Visiting Consultant Interventional Radiologist at Puteri Specialist Hospital with subspecialty expertise in interventional radiology and neurointerventional radiology. He completed fellowships in Neurointerventional Radiology at Monash Health, Australia, and Interventional Radiology under the Ministry of Health Malaysia. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (UK), holds a Master of Medicine in Diagnostic Radiology from the National University of Singapore, and earned his MBBS from University Malaya.

Dr. Arif is an active member of several professional societies, including the Malaysian Society of Interventional Radiology and the Australian and New Zealand Society of Neuroradiology. He has contributed to numerous publications in endovascular and diagnostic imaging fields, serves on scientific committees for international radiology meetings, and received the Ministry of Health Malaysia's Certificate of Excellent Service in 2017.

Dr Aida Shazlin Binti Hamiddin completed her medical degree from UPM, Malaysia. She earned her master's in Radiology from the University of Malaya in 2018. After that, she started her gazettement as a clinical radiologist at Hospital Miri, Sarawak. She completed her fellowship training in Interventional Radiology from Malaysia and Italy in October 2023 and began working as an Interventional Radiologist at Hospital Queen Elizabeth in January 2024. Her interests are in Interventional Oncology and hepatobiliary intervention.

Clinical Coordinator, Advanced Minimally Invasive Endovascular and Neurointervention (AMIEN) Unit, Department of Radiology, HPUSM. Dr. Nasibah Mohamad is a Clinical Radiologist and Interventional Radiologist at HPUSM. She holds a Master of Medicine in Radiology from Universiti Sains Malaysia and pursued subspecialty training in Interventional Radiology at HPUSM under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Mohd Shafie Abdullah. She further completed advanced training at the National Cancer Center, Tsukiji Campus, Tokyo, Japan, and had short-term attachments at Hospital Kuala Lumpur and Kyungpook National University Hospital, South Korea. She is also a recipient of the European Board of Interventional Radiology (EBIR) certification awarded by CIRSE. Currently serving as President of the East Coast Neuroradiology and Interventional Radiology Society (ECSNIR) and an ordinary member of the Malaysia Society of Interventional Radiology, Dr. Nasibah is actively involved in delivering Interventional Radiology services across the East Coast region. The AMIEN Unit, established in 2012, is the only dedicated IR unit in the region, offering 24/7 patient care. Dr. Nasibah is actively involved in research and regularly invited to speak on various IR-related topics. She is committed to fostering collaborative, multidisciplinary approaches to enhance patient care.

Dr Anis Shafina Mahfudz is an Interventional Radiologist and medical lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). She obtained her undergraduate medical degree (MBChB) from University of Sheffield, United Kingdom in 2005. She attained her postgraduate education in Master of Radiology (MRad) at the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, in 2013. Dr Anis completed her interventional radiology fellowship training in 2018 at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre, Selayang Hospital and Yonsei University College of Medicine (Severance Hospital) in South Korea. She is currently based in Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah UiTM Puncak Alam, where she provides a wide range of interventional radiology services. Dr Anis is currently the Honorary Secretary of the Malaysian Society of Interventional Radiology (MySIR) and has been an active council member of MySIR since 2016.

Dr Wei Lin Ng joined as an academic staff in the Department of Biomedical Imaging, University Malaya in 2018. She obtained her medical degree (MBBS) and masters of radiology (MRad) from University of Malaya. Previously she served in Hospital Taiping, Perak as a radiologist from 2016 to 2017. She finished her fellowship training in interventional radiology in Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Bangkok Thailand from July 2021 to June 2022. Her fellowship training mainly focused on hepatocellular carcinoma treatment and also includes ablation techniques including RFA, MWA, cryoablation and IRE. Currently she is the Head of Unit of Interventional Radiology in University Malaya Medical Center.
