Khairul Missa Mohd Amin New Zealand

Dr Khairul Missa Mohd Amin is a Consultant Interventional Radiologist at Christchurch Hospital, specializing in minimally invasive, image-guided treatments for a wide range of vascular and non-vascular conditions. Originally from Malaysia, Missa completed her medical training at the University of Otago in 2012. She undertook her radiology training in Wellington, gaining Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) in 2021. She subsequently completed an Abdominopelvic Imaging Fellowship in Wellington, followed by an Interventional Radiology Fellowship in Christchurch, where she now practices as a consultant. She also holds certification from the European Board of Interventional Radiology (EBIR), reflecting her advanced training and commitment to excellence in interventional radiology. Her key clinical interests include embolization, management of pulmonary embolism, vascular malformations, minimally invasive interventions for men’s and women’s health, peripheral arterial interventions, and vascular access. Missa is actively involved in international interventional radiology communities and professional education. She is a member of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologist (RANZCR), the Interventional Radiology Society of Australasia (IRSA), and the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE).
