Dr Naveen Rajadurai graduated from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2004 before obtaining his Maters In Radiology from Universiti Malaya in 2012 and furthering his subspecialty training as a Fellow in Musculoskeletal Radiology under the Ministry of Health Malaysia training in diagnostic musculoskeletal disorders predominantly Sport Injury Imaging, Bone Oncology and Rheumatological Disorders.
His interest then gravitated towards Musculoskeletal Intervention Radiology where he trained in Hospital Sungai Buloh performing Interventional procedures related to Pain control, Therapeutic Bone Oncology and Sports Injury Intervention. He also completed a stint in AORN Carderelli, Naples, Italy in 2016 training in spine intervention predominantly Vertebroplasty, Kyphoplasty and Ozone Intervertebral Disc Therapy with an attachment in SS Trinita Cagliary, Sardegna, Italy performing Radiofrequency treatment for spinal pain.
Dr Naveen then further went to advance his knowledge with an internship to Hospital Nouvel Civil, Strasbourg, France where he was fortunate to train and perform Cryoablation of Bone and Soft Tissue Tumours via CT and MRI guidance.
He recently completed a Post Graduate Medical Education (PGME) Certificate in South East Asia : Leadership in Medicine under Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA in 2023. He is now an alumnus of Harvard Medical School and member of Harvard Club Malaysia.
He is also currently President and Life Member of Malaysian Society of Radiologists (Mysir) and Life Member of Malaysian Society of Interventional Pain Practitioners and Malaysian Association Study of Pain (MASP).
He is also an academician in KPJ Healthcare University functioning as a Clinical Associate Professor. He actively trains post graduate radiology trainees, supervises their dissertation, regularly conducts research and regularly invited to speak in numerous local and international radiology and orthopaedic conferences.
