Cuong Tran Chi Vietnam

Professor Tran Chi Cuong is one of Vietnam’s foremost pioneers in interventional neuroradiology and endovascular neuroscience. He currently serves as President of the Interventional Neuroradiology Society of Ho Chi Minh City (INR-HCM), where he leads efforts to advance education, research, and clinical practice in neurovascular medicine. With more than two decades of experience, Prof. Cuong has played a vital role in introducing and developing advanced minimally invasive techniques for the diagnosis and treatment of cerebrovascular diseases, including stroke, aneurysms, and arteriovenous malformations. As a clinician, researcher, and educator, he has trained numerous specialists and established programs that promote international collaboration between Vietnam and leading medical institutions around the world. His work has significantly contributed to improving stroke intervention outcomes and expanding access to high-quality neurointerventional care across Vietnam. Prof. Cuong’s leadership continues to shape the nation’s medical community, fostering innovation, professional excellence, and patient-centered care in the rapidly evolving field of interventional neuroradiology.
