Dear Colleagues and Esteemed Guests,

It is my pleasure to warmly welcome you to the Malaysian Society of Interventional Radiology (MYSIR) Annual Scientific Meeting 2025. This year, we come together under the theme Establishing Foundations, Aspiring Excellence, a testament to our shared commitment to illuminating knowledge base to our budding colleagues in the Interventional Radiology (IR) fraternity. We believe this meeting would build the foundation and teamwork between doctors, radiographers, nurses and medical assistants towards advancing IR services in Malaysia.

Our meeting will be held from 18th to 21st June 2025 at the beautiful Hospital al-Sultan Abdullah, UITM Puncak Alam campus, and we have curated a program that promises to be both engaging and enriching. The event begins with a pre-congress workshop on 18th June, offering hands-on sessions to refine skills and explore the latest innovations in IR. From 19th to 21st June, we will run two concurrent scientific tracks, ensuring a broad range of topics to meet the diverse interests of our participants.

The Gala Dinner on 20th June 2025 is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate, connect with peers, and reflect on our collective achievements. For MYSIR members, the Annual General Meeting (AGM) will also take place during this conference, providing an opportunity for members to actively participate and contribute in shaping the future direction of our society.

We hope that MYSIR ASM would inspire many to join our MYSIR family, MYSIR membership offers many benefits, which include reduced registration fees for our Annual Scientific Meetings, society activities and access to a vibrant professional network committed to the growth of Interventional Radiology in Malaysia. This meeting is more than just a gathering-it is a collaborative effort to strengthen the foundation of our fraternity and strive for excellence in patient care.

My heartfelt gratitude to the distinguished faculties who come from near and far to graciously extend their support to this meeting. Their expertise and insights will undoubtedly enrich our understanding of interventional radiology practice. This meeting would not be possible without the support from our Industry and collaborative partners.
