Consultant Interventional and General Radiologist at Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur, previously held key roles at Assunta Hospital and led the Interventional Radiology Unit at Hospital Kuala Lumpur (1999–2005).
Graduated in 1987 from Mangalore University (Kasturba Medical College, Manipal), and completed postgraduate radiology training in the UK at Hammersmith and Charing Cross Hospitals, earning the FRCR in 1997 and CSST in 1998.
Undertook sub-specialty training in Interventional Radiology and Neurointervention in the UK (Hammersmith, John Radcliffe, and South Tees Hospitals). Completed an International Masters in Neurovascular Diseases in 2006 (Mahidol-Paris University).
Active in academic and professional circles—presented research internationally, served as President of the Malaysian Society of Interventional Radiologists (2012–2016), and held roles in the College of Radiology Malaysia and the Academy of Medicine Malaysia.
Contributed to national radiology guidelines and fee schedules, and is affiliated with multiple international radiology societies.
Clinical interests: Interventional oncology and neurovascular disease.
