Boey Ching Yeen

Dr Boey Ching Yeen received her medical degree with honours from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 2011. She was elected to the Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) in 2017. Subsequently, she completed her postgraduate studies in Nuclear Medicine in Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in 2021. In 2023, she received her Fellowship of the Asian Nuclear Medicine Board (FANMB) in Seoul, South Korea. Presently, she works as a Nuclear Medicine Physician in Hospital Kuala Lumpur. Her special interests are in the field of nephrology particularly in renal transplant, paediatric nuclear medicine, oncologic imaging and radionuclide therapies particularly I-131 radioactive iodine therapy in thyroid carcinomas, MIBG therapy in metastatic neuroblastoma and pheochromocytoma/paraganglioma as well as selective internal radiation therapy (SIRT) for primary or metastatic liver cancers.
